Dog Friendly Areas within the Town of Crested Butte! Please see the map. It is quite restricted - basically, in town, keep your pet on a leash with few exceptions. All the restaurants almost have outside dining and you can eat there with your pet. Map of dog friendly public areas in crested butte:

Crested Butte Parks:

It is unlawful to allow any dog to enter or be in any public park within the Town of Crested Butte, Colorado- Quite the Bummer. On the other hand, there are a zillion trails and climbs you can do with your pet! So off you go! See the guides!

If you walk the rec path with your dog (please do!) remember to put your dog on a leash from the bridge crossing Slate River to Moon Ridge Lane. You will want to! there are cows! It has become a reg to do this. There must've been problems, which I can imagine when dogs and cows meet.

Meg has lived in Crested Butte since 2007 and began her pet sitting career in 2010. Meg grew up in rural Western New York where her love of animals started from a very young age in a home where there were always large breed dogs. She also raised sheep and pigs and helped her father raise chickens and pheasants. Meg spent her childhood exploring nature in the woods surrounding her home and has always found great joy in observing wildlife. Meg graduated in 2008 from WSCU in Gunnison, CO with a BA in Business Administration.

Located just outside of Crested Butte at 336 Buckley Dr., Crested Butte, CO., Oh Be Dogful is a special place to leave your dog. You will NOT feel guilty that you are playing, because your dog will be playing too!

Hours: M-F 7:30am-6pm. Sat, Sun, Holidays 9am-5pm.

Dog Daycare:

They've got a jungle gym, lots of toys, kiddie pools, a sandpit, and plenty of room for running. Dogs benefit greatly from daycare. Your pet will learn how to socialize with other dogs and best of all, they come home tired.
