Nov. 12 = Crested Butte Nordic Center: Opening Day-Crested Butte Nordic will be opening for the 2022/2023 winter season on Saturday, November 12. We look forward to welcoming our community into to the warming house to pick up passes, drop off skis for waxing, and shop for any nordic goodies to help you get ready for winter fun when the snow starts to fly.

Nov. 14 = Uncorked!Monthly Wine Class-Certified sommelier Malia Brown takes you into the World of Wine in a series of classes designed to empower you to order wine with confidence! Learn how to taste wine, what varietals pair well with different dishes, what wine is “so hot right now”, and short histories of wine. During each class you will taste up to six wines and leave with liquid confidence.

Nov. 23 - This year’s Opening Day for Skiing 9-5p.m.!

Nov. 24 = Thanksgiving Day

Nov. 24-27 = Thanksgiving Nordic Ski Camp-

CB Nordic is going on 30+ years of snow at Thanksgiving here in Crested Butte!
The camp offers clinics in intimate groups with personalized coaching that caters to all fitness levels.
Get a jump on your nordic ski season with their early season instruction!
“Our Thanksgiving Ski Camp offers intimate group clinics, with personalized coaching that caters to all ability levels.  Ideally we have sufficient snow in town to utilize our trail network, if not, we hold clinics at our high elevation venue, just 10 minutes out of town. Our professional staff facilitate fun, informative instruction, from youth to never-ever adults to committed racers. Join us for the Round-Robin Refresher Thursday morning, then for half, or full-day clinics on Friday & Saturday.  Thanksgiving Camp also features Wine & Waxing, a Winter Kick-Off Party, and a Citizens’ Race on Sunday.” – CB Nordic

Nov. 27 = Pinnacle Orthopedics Race Series-The CB Nordic & Pinnacle Orthopedics Community Races are a fun way to get outside, get some exercise, meet new people, and challenge yourself. Each week is a different format with distances ranging from 5K to 15K in both skate and classic. Every week a kids’ race is offered as well, with 1K and 3K options. Every race you do you acquire points, and at the end of the series we’ll award the winner of the most points. Adult Races – $20; Day of Registration $25; Youth Races (1K/3K) – Free
