Oct. 3 = Crested Butte Bazaar--The Crested Butte Bazaar is a vintage secondhand market in the Four-Way parking lot, directly behind the Visitor Center, where thrifting meets a refreshingly uncrowded fall Crested Butte. Vendors come from across Colorado and beyond, from seasoned antique dealers to locals clearing out attics and garages, so the mix changes every hour. Food trucks on site, and the shops and restaurants of Elk Avenue a block away.
Saturday, October 3, 9 AM to 3 PM. Free to attend. 601 Elk Avenue.

Oct. 3 - Mt. Crested Butte Fall Festival and Pumpkin Patch--The Town of Mt. Crested Butte invites the community to celebrate the 4th Annual Mt. Crested Butte Fall Festival, taking place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Ted Scheske Park & Mountain Wedding Garden. This free, family-friendly event offers an afternoon full of autumn fun, featuring live music, a pumpkin patch, cookie decorating, face painting, a bouncy house, and more.
Kids’ activities are free, and attendees can enjoy a complimentary beverage bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. Food will be available for purchase from local food trucks.Attendees are reminded that non-service animals, outside alcohol, and weapons are not allowed at the event. At the wedding garden!

Oct. 6 = Fall Folk - the Firebird-Part concert, part ceremony, part story told around a hearth. The ReMemberers bring The Firebird to life through ritual storytelling, global song, live instrumentation, and theatre.
The multidisciplinary trio of Violet Southard, Alex Harvey, and John de Kadt build something closer to an immersive performance than a standard set. 5:30-7 p.m. at the Center for the Arts

Get ready to do the Time Warp! A thrilling screening and sing-along of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, complete with a live shadow cast from Firebird Theater bringing the film to life right before your eyes.
Expect outrageous fun, audience participation, and all the iconic songs you love, whether you are a die-hard fan or a first-timer. Center for the Arts 7-9:30 p.m.

Oct. 27 = Fall Folk the Ditchwalkers-Old-time mountain music and bluegrass, played by people who clearly enjoy it. The Ditchwalkers bring spirited instrumentals and three-part harmonies to close out the Fall Folk series. The musical trio features Matt Shugert (guitar), Madeline Shugert (banjo), and Lizzy Plotkin (fiddle).
Free, 5:30 PM at the Center for the Arts. Late October in Crested Butte is about as quiet as the valley gets, which is either the drawback or the whole appeal. Center for the Arts 5:30-7p.m.

Oct. 31 = Floodgate Operators at the Center for the Arts-Crested Butte based Floodgate Operators know a thing or two about getting the party started. Founded in 2018, the band has grown from a dive bar bluegrass act into a force of original music and showmanship that has earned praise throughout the Rocky Mountain West. 8-10:30 p.m.
