June 20- Sept. 13 - In Sept= Sept 4,5,6,11,13--- The River Bar at Garlic Mike's - Right next to the Gunnison - it is a beautiful place just north of Gunnison to listen to some music! And the Italian food inside the restaurant is the best! The River Bar is open every evening from 4pm begins summer solstice - June 20--through Labor Day. Pet friendly. Live music every Friday and Saturday from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. Cocktails and light bar snacks at 4pm and lighter River Bar dinner menu at 5pm. Counter service only. After Labor Day: Fridays and Saturdays through the GRAND FINALE SEPTEMBER 30th!!

All entry fees and donations go to the Titan Booster Club supporting High School sports. Distance: 4 or 6 miles on single track trails, dirt roads and paved roads. Sept. 5 = Floodgate Operators-Live at the Almont Resort - 7-11 p.m. 20$--2nd place finishers at the 50th Telluride Bluegrass Festival Band Contest, Floodgate Operators are a 5-piece bluegrass band from Crested Butte, CO. Floodgate Operators combine fast, flat-picking traditionals with energetic, heartfelt originals to create a jamgrass experience that has earned them praise throughout the Rocky Mountain West. Sept. 5 = Dance Aspen-Shifting Forms - Center for the Arts 7 p.m.
“Friends of Friends” is a group exhibition that gathers a vibrant mix of artists working across a wide range of styles, mediums, and perspectives. While not everyone in the show knows each other personally, they’re all connected by a shared source of inspiration: time spent outdoors. Whether it’s the texture of a tree trunk or the rhythm of a trail, the influence of nature runs through each piece—sometimes subtly, sometimes boldly. Like any great art, a closer look often reveals something more. The show features an eclectic mix of media, including painting, block printing, woodworking, drawing, and spray painting. Representing creative voices from Denver, Lake Tahoe, and right here in Crested Butte, Friends of Friends is as much about connection as it is about creativity. Featured Artists:

September 7 = Bridges of the Butte---September 7 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm-The Adaptive Sports Center is hosting their annual Bridges of the Butte! This townie tour is like none other. Grab your best costumes and get ready for a 4 hour bike ride from noon-4pm on September 8th! Funds raised during Bridges of the Butte will help to provide affordable lessons, state-of-the-art equipment, and highly-trained instructors in many disciplines and disability adaptions.

Simply show up, enjoy the sounds, and grab a complimentary drink on us! Free The Ditchwalkers are a homegrown Crested Butte trio featuring Matt Shugert (guitar), Madeline Shugert (banjo), and Lizzy Plotkin (fiddle). Rooted in the rhythms of mountain life, their music weaves heartfelt harmonies with acoustic instrumentation, drawing from old-time, folk, and Appalachian traditions. Whether on a back porch or local stage, The Ditchwalkers bring an authentic sound that’s as wild and warm as the high country they call home.

Sept. 26 = Summer Artwalk Evening 6-9 p.m.-Leisurely stroll through the galleries of Crested Butte, experience the diverse artistic expressions of local artists, and be inspired by these special ArtWalk evenings. This is a self-guided tour of the galleries in downtown Crested Butte hosted by Artists of Crested Butte. Galleries involved have an ‘ArtWalk’ flag outside their door.
