A Jeep tour and a world-class concert in the most beautiful concert space ever invented – the outdoors! Join a Jeep tour to a ridiculously beautiful view and revel in a fun, world-class performance by the Murdza, Marsh and Gray Band.
Tickets include hors d’oeuvres and drinks. Last year our Adventure Series SOLD out quickly, so don’t miss out! $200 --Performer: Storm Pass--
Music of the mountains we live in, the paths we’ve crossed and the traditional sounds we love. Storm pass is a band not to miss!
What type of vehicle do I need? :
Please bring your own vehicle. This is a jeep trip on difficult mountain mining roads. Obstacles range from simple potholes to tight and difficult rocky trails. Jeep Wranglers are the vehicle of choice and mild additions like lift kits and larger tires are recommended. As always, please make sure you have at least: extra water, a functional spare tire, an appropriate jack and tools supplied by Jeep or a highlift jack, tire changing tools, snacks, extra coats and/or a blanket, an umbrella for sun or rain, and durable hiking shoes that are also comfortable. We do not recommend any SUVs, but there are exceptions for vehicles that have been modified to tackle off road terrain – these vehicles will need to be approved by the CBMF via photograph. Please ask if you have any questions regarding vehicle choice.

Sept. 2 =Yonder Mountain String Band at the IBar Ranch - 7:30-9:30 p.m.-$55

The Crested Butte Music Festival and the I Bar Ranch are proud to present Yonder Mountain String Band!
For the past 20 years, Yonder Mountain String Band has redefined bluegrass music, expanding the traditional acoustic genre beyond its previously established boundaries by steadily pushing the envelope into the realms of rock n’ roll and improvisation. YMSB—guitarist Adam Aijala, bassist Ben Kaufmann, banjo player Dave Johnston, Nick Piccininni on mandolin (and other instruments!) and violinist Allie Kral–has always played music of their own design, in the process attracting a devout following of fans that often resembles a tight-knit family on an epic musical journey as Yonder traverses the country with an ambitious tour schedule. Yonder is a quintessential ensemble honing its craft night after night on the road, and the fans are there to experience it in real time. The result is music that doesn’t stand still, it’s always progressing and breaking unprecedented ground.

Sept. 10 = Taylor Park Wetland-Taylor Park Wetland Restoration Project on Trail Creek (Beaver-Based Restoration)
Saturday, September
When: Saturday, September 10 (9:00AM - 3:00PM) Second day of back-to-back volunteer workdays
Where: Trail Creek, Taylor Park (near Almont, CO)
Parking: Go past Taylor Reservoir on FS 742, go left or west on 748 (turn for Spring Creek), follow 748 for 2 miles and then park on the side of the road above Trail Creek. The coordinates are: 38°54'53.8"N 106°36'56.7"W
What: Volunteers will use low-tech restoration methods to strengthen the resiliency of riparian systems, thereby improving watershed health. Mimicking beaver structures helps attenuate water on the landscape and return complexity to struggling and drying riverscapes, allowing more wetland vegetation to grow.
Why: Restoring riparian systems cycles nutrients, restores top-soils through sedimentation, and provides groundwater recharge. On a landscape scale, we aim to increase the resilience of these headwaters to mitigate, or even reverse, climate change effects on the ground, which ultimately provides healthy watersheds.
