June 20- Labor Day--- The River Bar at Garlic Mike's - Right next to the Gunnison - it is a beautiful place just north of Gunnison to listen to some music! And the Italian food inside the restaurant is the best! The River Bar is open every evening from 4pm begins summer solstice - June 20--through Labor Day. Pet friendly. Live music every Friday and Saturday from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.  Cocktails and light bar snacks at 4pm and lighter River Bar dinner menu at 5pm. July 4!!! - Great 4th of July Festivities in Crested Butte,-at 11:00 a.m.

Expect funky, fun and good-natured laughter as people line Crested Butte's Elk Avenue at least four deep to take in the spectacle of the July 4th parade. Stick around downtown for live music, a food court, face painting  and old-fashioned games. The 2nd Annual Slip & Slide Party/BBQ is happing! Come out for the best party of the summer. Get ready to slip, slide and BBQ. Please bring beverages and items to grill.

July 11-20-Crested Butte Wildflower Festival, Crested Butte

The mission of the Crested Butte Wildflower Festival is to advocate for the preservation and appreciation of wildflowers. 

This festival began in 1986 through the efforts of a few insightful Crested Butte locals who envisioned a wildflower celebration in one of the most picturesque valleys in Colorado. The Festival has grown into a summer-long season of events with over 300 events offered by over 60 instructors, tour guides and volunteers.

Come to Crested Butte to enjoy the beautiful scenery and don’t forget to bring your camera!! Throughout the festival, there will be an array of activities to please everyone. You can choose from 4x4 & van tours, hikes, art classes, birding & butterflies, botany & medicinal lectures, edibles, garden tours, walks, photography classes and much more!
