June 28- Labor Day--- The River Bar at Garlic Mike's - Right next to the Gunnison-Happy Hour from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Expect funky, fun and good-natured laughter as people line Crested Butte's Elk Avenue at least four deep to take in the spectacle of the July 4th parade. Stick around downtown for live music, a food court, face painting and old-fashioned games. The 2nd Annual Slip & Slide Party/BBQ is happing! Come out for the best party of the summer. Get ready to slip, slide and BBQ. Please bring beverages and items to grill.

The mission of the Crested Butte Wildflower Festival is to advocate for the preservation and appreciation of wildflowers. This festival began in 1986 through the efforts of a few insightful Crested Butte locals who envisioned a wildflower celebration in one of the most picturesque valleys in Colorado. The Festival has grown into a summer-long season of events with over 300 events offered by over 60 instructors, tour guides and volunteers. Come to Crested Butte to enjoy the beautiful scenery and don’t forget to bring your camera!! Throughout the festival, there will be an array of activities to please everyone. You can choose from 4x4 & van tours, hikes, art classes, birding & butterflies, botany & medicinal lectures, edibles, garden tours, walks, photography classes and much more! July 11 = Land Trust Gala-- from 5:30 p.m. The 8th Annual Crested Butte Land Trust Gala presented by Margery Feldberg and Jeremy Levin will commemorate a landmark achievement: the conservation of Red Lady, one of the Gunnison Valley’s most beloved landscapes. This year’s gala, held at Big Mine Ice Arena in Crested Butte, promises to be a unique opportunity to honor this extraordinary accomplishment. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
