Come to this beautiful mountain cabin to fish, play, relax or hunt. Located 20 minutes from Gunnison, 35 minutes from the Crested Butte ski slopes, just west of Almont, this cabin lies in an extra-ordinarily beautiful valley setting. It is in the Ohio Valley. Perfect for small weddings too! Georgia is an expert at it after planning her own daughter's wedding there and several others. Hunters welcome in the fall!

Fish in your own creek, build a fire in the firepit, gaze up at the stars. We have a new hot tub! you can board horses in the barn if you like, but that is not necessary as Almont is very close, and has great horseback riding facilities, river rafting, pond fishing for kids, etc. Check out the ghost town of Baldwin, right next to you. Drive over the Ohio Pass to Crested Butte in summer (from june onward) - it's called the "Scenic Loop", for a gourmet dinner. Outdoor grill, linens provided.

Dogs are welcome, as are horses. We'll put the horses in the barn. There is floor heating and a wood burning stove also. The wood is provided. If you don't have a horse, several local outfitters will be happy to provide them.

Used as a hunting cabin in the fall, this cabin has multiple access to Unit 54, prime hunting grounds for deer and elk. In season, there are rpivate group hunting packages: pick up at the airport, gourment meal preparation, guiding if desired,, animal packing. Please call for details.

Great satellite TV... Dome winter, summer, fall and spring!! The owner's house is the only other house near you - and Georgia is an incredible resource for anything you might want to do.
